Expect informative talks, engaging workshops and action ideas, including:
A declicious lunch will be provided by Moveable Feast or theCommunity Kitchen, for a £10 donation – all lunch costs will go to support these great social enterprises.
It’s been quite a year for climate action. It’s time to build on that to accelerate real change in our region.
No-one has a foolproof plan on how to do that. But this day of talks and workshops will seek some answers. Answers to questions like:
What has Zero West been up to?
What are our priorities in 2020?
How can we work to achieve faster progress toward zero carbon?
The programme will include workshops on next steps in each of our main areas of work.
On infrastructure projects: what have we learnt about barriers and blockers, and how can we ease them?
On visions for the future of the region: how can we use our new data analysis to underpin conversations about system change?
On community action: what are the best ways to engage all kinds of people about the need for climate action?
There’ll be a participatory workshop by Encounters Arts, presentation of our latest regional energy modelling, and we’ll include our first AGM, with a vote for Zero West directors.
Come along to be inspired and to learn how best to help develop our work.
Registration is free.
Full programme will be posted soon.
