We are pleased that Rob Bryher has agreed to become a co-opted Director of Zero West.
Rob, a Bristol resident and former Green Party councillor with a background in transport planning,is working for climate action charity Possible on their “Car Free Cities” campaign. As he explained at a recent board meeting, the campaign is not about removing cars entirely, but involves promoting better ways of managing them and allowing other uses of our streets.
Rob will help us to develop the work of the Moving Bristol Forward campaign, and ensure that it keeps decarbonisation of transport as a key objective.
He joins our four existing directors, Andy O’Brien, Emilia Melville, Jon Turney – and John Drowley, who was eledted at the recent AGM.
